The analyser measures the full 3D surface cone of a band-structure without sample tilt. A-branch (ARPES) The A-branch endstation consists of several UHV chambers, coupled by a central radial distribution chamber. This layout permits working in parallel on each chamber, independently of all others. Thus, ARPES data yield direct information about the single-particle spectral function for occupied states, and hence is a valuable and unique tool for determining the electronic origins of the exotic properties found in the cuprates.

PRL 83 (1999) 3717 Data at 33 eV k E A few methods for curve fitting using LmFit and the built-in utilities of PyARPES. We argue that the resonant peak observed in neutron scattering experiments on superconducting cuprates and the peak/dip/hump features observed in ARPES measurements are by-products of the same physical phenomenon. Both are due to feedback effects on the damping of spin fluctuations in a d -wave superconductor. Our ARPES data clearly show a surface Dirac point observed at a binding energy of 1.45 eV which is consistent with an earlier prediction. Thus, SX-ARPES measurements, which are reasonably bulk sensitive, reveal the 3D linearly dispersive bulk Weyl cones and Weyl nodes. Furthermore, by combining the low –photon-energy and SX-ARPES data, we show that the locations of the projected bulk Weyl nodes correspond to the terminations of the Fermi arcs within our exper-imental resolution.

The data can be easily opened by Igor program, or our arpespythontools package can be used analyze the ARPES Python tools.
